A.G. International Chemical Company Inc. (AGIC) was established in 1968 as a 50/50 joint venture between Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company (MGC) and BP (former Amoco Chemical).  Since 1969, AGIC has been producing and selling Isophthalic acid in Asia.  Now, 'AGIC PIA (Purified Isophthalic Acid)' becomes familiar with the reliable brand name of Isophthalic acid.   Demand for high purity Isophthalic acid is increasing globally as a raw material and/or modifier of various polymer compounds.  On and after 1999, AGIC has had approximately 120kMtons/year of PIA production capacity in Mizushima, Japan.   In this time, AGIC has become a subsidiary company of Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Co.,Inc.  Our goal is to supply PIA with the superior quality and stable suppliability using rich MX resource of MGC.
